AKSI Aerospace Group and FIXAR Global have signed an agreement to manufacture drones in India under a licensing deal worth up to Rs 85 crore. The announcement was made at Aero India 2025 in Bengaluru.
Under this partnership, AKSI Aerospace will produce drones for both domestic and international markets. The company will manufacture critical drone subsystems, including navigation systems, propulsion, batteries, airframe composites, and imaging systems.
FIXAR Global develops software and aircraft designs for commercial autonomous drones used in industrial applications across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The agreement will allow FIXAR to expand its production footprint in India, utilizing AKSI Aerospace’s manufacturing capabilities, quality control processes, training infrastructure, and maintenance support, according to a company statement.
