Drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace has announced an investment of Rs 100 crore for the establishment of a drone development hub in Andhra Pradesh. The facility will be located in Orvakal village, Kurnool district.
According to a statement issued by the company, the planned hub aims to support drone research and innovation. The project is expected to attract professionals in the field and contribute to technological advancements in the sector.
The announcement was made during a meeting with Civil Aviation Minister Rama Mohan Naidu. During the meeting, Garuda Aerospace’s founder and CEO Agnishwar Jayaprakash discussed the company’s initiatives, including its involvement in the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ program, which focuses on drone technology applications for rural communities.
