HAL, BEML Sign MoU for Training and Skill Development
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and BEML Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on leadership and technical training programs aimed at skill development.
Under the agreement, HAL Management Academy (HMA) will conduct induction training, management training, specialized workshops, and certification programs for BEML professionals. The programs will cover areas such as Six Sigma, Quality, Reliability, Data Analytics, and Industry 4.0. The partnership also includes industrial visits, knowledge-sharing sessions, joint conferences, internships, and project-based learning opportunities.
The MoU was signed by Srikantha Sharma, Executive Director of HMA, and Monideepa Roy, Head of Talent Management at BEML. The signing event was attended by senior management representatives from both organizations, including HAL’s Director of Human Resources, A B Pradhan, and BEML’s Director of Human Resources, Debi Prasad Satpathy.
Pradhan noted the role of continuous learning in the defence and heavy engineering sectors, while Satpathy highlighted the collaboration’s potential to enhance technical expertise and managerial leadership at BEML.
According to the press release, this agreement aims to strengthen industry-academia engagement and develop workforce capabilities within the defence and engineering sectors.
